Sonam Kapoor asks for support on her Breast Cancer Campaign

Of late, Sonam Kapoor has been making news for quite a wrong reason as she called Katrina Kaif shameless and all. However, she did mention later on that her statement was manipulated by the media but the damage was already done.
Well, now she is back in news but this time, not for a controversial one but for a social cause. As the brand ambassador of ELLE Breast Cancer Campaign, Sonam Kapoor is asking her fans for a special gift on her birthday this year.
Sonam will celebrate her birthday on June 9. Being associated with Ogaan Cancer Foundation, Sonam is creating awareness and requesting her fans to donate for the cause. "4 days to go guys! Would love your support in spreading awareness for breast cancer! Please help me reach my goal. Gift me your support towards spreading breast cancer awareness for my birthday," said Sonam.
For the uninitiated, Sonam recently lost her aunt Mona Kapoor who was suffering with cancer. "It is my privilege to play a part in spreading breast cancer awareness. Everyone seems to know someone with breast cancer; I lost an aunt to it. Therefore this year on my birthday I urge friends, family and fans who wish to gift me, to do so by donating to this cause", requested Sonam on a humble note.
