Few days back there were rumours saying that the movie adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's 2 States is set to go on floors soon, where Imran Khan will be playing the male lead.
Earlier there have been various hindrances in the way of the film but finally it was confirmed that the pre-productions work of the film will take-off soon. Meanwhile the male lead Imran is confirmed for the film but still there have been confusion that who will romance the Jaane Tu boy?
Well, the latest development regarding it says that there will be a toss-up between three big heroines - Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and southern sensation Asin. Buzz also suggest that Deepika and Asin, who are both south Indians, stand a better chance than PC to win the role since the female protagonist is a Tamil Brahmin.
But we say don't write off Punjabi PC who made a convincing Marathi mulgi in Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminey. The film, which is being directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar, will begin production next year.
