Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5 is all to launch its first round of promos on Colors, which will give a glimpse of B-town diva Madhuri Dixit-Nene paying tribute to Bollywood’s ’60s superstar Meena Kumari. Meenaji is considered to have popularised the dance form of mujra. And the song Thade rahiyo from her notable film Pakeezah is one of the most memorable numbers till date. In the soon-to-be-launched promos, Madhuri will dance to that very song. Isn’t that simply great? We’re sure it is because after watching Madhuri’s ada in Devdas’ mujra number Maar dala, wethinks she makes for a perfect choice. Don’t you think?www.google-gang.blogspot.com
For JDJ, the song was choreographed by one of Madhuri’s first and best choreographers, Saroj Khan. And Mads will don a shimmering pink Anarkali outfit while performing the graceful mujra. Also, the sets of the TV show have been redone to replicate the Pakeezah look to create a close-to-original effect.

But all this talk about Madhuri makes us wonder about the lady’s comeback in B-town. No doubt that the actor made an official comeback with Yash Raj Films’ movie Aaja Nach Le. But post that her appearance in Bollywood was pretty erratic. Now the situation is different. Apart from being seen inJhalak…, Madhuri will soon be seen on the big screen in not one but two movies – Vishal Bhardwaj’sDedh Ishqiya and Soumik Sen’s Gulab Gang.
